BOLLARDS

Temporary plastic bollards such as the popular t-top bollards are one of our best sellers, and they’re available with either a 6kg or 8kg heavy rubber base. Tough, hard wearing and quick to set up, these plastic bollards can help you mark out areas on site.

Jaybro also sells knockdown bollard which spring back up after being run over. Rebounda bollards are made from tough PVC meaning they can stand up to being driven over again and again. They are ideal for separate opposing traffic flows or lanes.

We’ve also got a wide range of permanent steel bollards for sale if you need a security bollard for a more permanent installation.

TRAFFIC CONES IN EVERY SIZE, SHAPE AND COLOUR

Traffic cones are an absolute essential for every traffic control job! Our range of traffic cones for sale includes reflective and non-reflective, different sizes and different colours, so there’s a witches hat for every purpose!

TIGER TAILS OR BARRIER BARS

Tiger tail bars turn your traffic cones into a quick and easy barrier, enabling you to block off small hazards fast. Our cone bars are retractable, telescoping out to 2 metres and folding into itself for easy storage and transport. The fit easily on to the tops of cones or T-top bollards More on how to get the most out of your barrier bars here.

BARRIER BOARDS

Reflective barrier boards are essential for closing lanes or closing roads altogether. These simple yellow and black boards are immediately recognisable by motorists and help to channel or direct traffic down to a reduced number of lanes. They also provide an unmistakable visual indicator that a road is closed. Barrier boards come in both Class 1 and Class 2 reflective finish, with legs sold separately so that you can add just one or two legs as necessary.

SUPPLIES FOR NIGHT ROAD WORKS

Night time traffic control products require a whole different set of supplies to ensure you can get the project finished safely and within the allocated timeline.

Lights and reflectivity are some of the key things to think about here: as well as you may need special PPE like white coveralls with reflective tape. Night road work signs might be required, depending on where your project is located. However, in NSW, night road work signs have recently been superseded and daytime signs are fine to use. Learn more about this recent change to NSW the traffic control at worksites manual here.

If you’re working on road work projects at night it’s likely that you’ll need a range of flashing lights, beacons and wands to ensure that the activities on site are highly visible to motorists. Using a variable message sign to warn motorists of upcoming changes to the road environment is generally a good idea, as well as using plenty of roadwork signs. Both swing stand signs and road signs with a steel boxed edge are used heavily by our traffic control customers.

Plus, if you have closed one or more lanes using barrier boards, you may like to add flashing hazard lamps for additional visibility in dark conditions.
