The Project

The Village Estate at Jimboomba is a high-end residential development aiming to provide a luxurious living experience to its residents. As part of the project, various infrastructure components were required, including gates, pump station lids, dome grates, sewer upstands, kerb entry units, roll-over kerb adaptors, and stormwater covers and frames.

The Challenge

During the project, two major challenges were encountered. The first challenge involved the need for a specialised Pump Station pick cover. The second challenge was the requirement for a distinctive black powder coated gate. These two components needed to be customised and delivered within a tight time frame.

Our Solution

To overcome the challenges faced in The Village Estate at Jimboomba project, Jaybro provided innovative solutions tailored to the specific requirements that included:

• Specialised Covers: to address the need for a Pump Station Pick cover, we manufactured hinged and bolt-down aluminum lids. These lids were coated with a Marine Grade paint that not only provided durability but also enhanced the aesthetic appeal. Additionally, the unique paint used ensured that the aluminum lids could not be easily tampered with or stolen, providing added security to the pump stations.
• Custom black powder coated gate: we designed and produced a customised black powder coated gate for the project. This gate not only served its functional purpose but also added a touch of elegance to the entrance of The Village Estate. The black powder coating provided durability, resistance to corrosion, and a sleek appearance.
• 900x900 Dome Grate: manufactured from galvanised mild steel to meet council standards, this dome gully grate was suitable for high-volume intake areas, such as subdivisions and bio-basin pits.
• Class B Sewer Cover & Frame: made from high-strength, low-absorption concrete, the sewer upstand offered durability and reliability.
• 4 Sag Kerb Entry Unit: a specialised unit designed for easy entry and exit.
• Roll over kerb adaptor: designed to facilitate smooth transitions between different levels of pavement.
• Class D Stormwater Cover & Frame: these covers and frames were compliant with Australian Standard AS3996:2006. They were suitable for non-trafficable applications in parks, reserves, and private properties.

By delivering these specially made products within a short time frame, we were able to help our client save time and reduce costs. Our ability to manufacture these customised components ensured that the project progressed smoothly without compromising on quality or design specifications.
