Fuller FulaFoam Fire Resistant Expanding Foam 750g

Code: 40-FOFR750
U.O.M. - Each
FulaFoam is a fire resistant expanding foam for filling cavities, sealing openings and cavities, bonding insulation and sealing pipe and cable penetrations. It will not shrink when cured and provides an airtight seal. It can also be cut, sanded, plastered or painted making it ideal for building and construction where fire rated building materials are specified.

Always consult a fire engineer before use in a fire rated application.

HB Fuller FulaFoam is fire resistant for 3.5 hours and additionally, provides high acoustic insulation. Its airtight seal forms an efficient barrier against smoke. FulaFoam Fire Resistant Foam will fill cavities, will not shrink when cured, and provides an airtight seal. It can also be cut, sanded, plastered or painted making it ideal for building and construction where fire rated building materials are specified.

Skins in approximately 12 minutes with curing in maximum 18 hours at 23 degrees Celcius. When cured, Fula Foam has a service temperature of -50 to +90 degrees Celcius.

  • Fire resistant - tested to AS1530.4 and AS4072-1992
  • Provides an efficient seal against smoke
  • High bond strength
  • High thermal and acoustic insulation
  • Does not contain CFCs or HCFCs
  • Polyurethane foam
  • Suitable for:

  • Fire resistant installation of window and door frames
  • Fire and smoke resistant sealing between partition walls, ceilings and floors
  • Filling cavities
  • Sealing openings in roof constructions
  • Sealing cable and pipe penetrations
  • Bonding insulation
  • Improving thermal insulation in cold store areas

    Surface Preparation:

Surfaces must be clean, sound and free from dust, grease, oil and contamination. High humidity and dampness will aid the expansion of the foam. However, the surfaces should not be wet. Spraying a fine mist of water into the cavity will aid expansion of the foam.

Shake can at least 20 times before each use to ensure that contents are mixed. Screw trigger and nozzle onto the can.

To inject the foam, turn the can upside down and direct nozzle into the cavity. Press trigger to release foam. When filling large cavities, do no empty the whole can at once. Fill in stages, allowing the foam to expand between each stage. Inject the foam for between 15 to 20 seconds. Depending on conditions, the foam should skin in about 25 minutes. After it has skinned, spray a fine mist (not a puddle) of water onto the foam. Inject the next layer of foam. Repeat until the cavity is 1/3 to 1/2 filled. Fula Foam will expand to approximately 3 -4 times the extruded volume. Trim cured foam using a saw, knife or sandpaper.

    Clean Up:

Surfaces surrounding the job area should be protected from accidental contact with Fulafoam Fire Resistant expanding foam. Clean up uncured foam immediately with acetone. Cured material is very difficult to remove. Sanding or other mechanical means will remove most of the foam. If on skin, wash with an abrasive soap. Any remaining residue will wear off with time.

12 months unopened from date of manufacture. If open, use within 48 hours.

Approximately 30 litres of foam, if used strictly according to directions.
