Double leg chain and sling safety tips
Be sure to visually examine the chain sling before use, keep an eye out for any stretched or damaged links, damage to the hooks or hooks with open throats.
Know the load weight and the sling capabilities before attempting to lift. Use the appropriate sling for the task and never shorten the length of the chain with bolts or unapproved methods. Ensure the proper sling is used and suitable for the load weight and size. Never overload the sling and make sure the chain is not twisted or knotted before engaging the load.
