Fibreglass Reinforced Plastic Grating Panel 3660mm x 1220mm x 25mm

The Fibreglass Reinforced Plastic Grating is a heavy-duty, corrosion-resistant moulded grating panel designed for industrial walkways, platforms, and trench covers. Manufactured with a grit-top surface and a robust 38mm mesh, this grating provides superior slip resistance and durability in wet and corrosive environments.

Tested to AS 4586 and AS 2331.3.1 standards, it achieves a P5 slip rating and demonstrates excellent coating integrity under salt spray conditions. Lightweight yet strong, it offers reliable structural support and long-term performance with minimal maintenance.

Salt Spray Corrosion Resistance

This product underwent 72 hours of salt spray exposure as per AS 2331.3.1. Five specimens were tested, with no visible signs of corrosion, rusting, or coating failure.

Slip Resistance Testing

Tested using the wet pendulum method in accordance with AS 4586-2013. It achieved a P5 slip resistance classification, the highest rating under the standard.

Load Performance

Load capacity was measured under both concentrated and uniform load conditions. At standard spans (e.g., 600mm), it supports up to 6.72 kg/mm width (concentrated) and 3.35 kPa (uniform), making it suitable for industrial and commercial walkways.

Fire Resistance Performance

Tested in accordance with ASTM E84-19a (Standard Test Method for Surface Burning Characteristics of Building Materials). The product, made from Isophthalic Resin (IFR), achieved excellent fire performance with low flame spread and moderate smoke development, indicating its suitability for environments requiring enhanced fire safety

Important Note: To ensure secure and stable installation, the 40-FRP3660 grating panel must be fastened using SKU 40-FRP-MC, a stainless-steel M-Clip specifically designed for FRP grating systems.
