A-Frame Barriers for Auckland Airport
Auckland Airport International Taxiway & Remote Stands
CPB Contractors, 2019
CPB Contractors are currently working on expanding existing aeronautical infrastructure for New Zealand’s largest and busiest airport.
Auckland Airport’s international taxiway and remote stands project includes more than 1 million cubic metres of earthworks and 168,000 square metres of concrete pavement.
Additionally CPB will deliver stormwater networks and a below ground jet fuel supply system.
The expansive project meant that there were a large number of workers on and around the site and temporary parking areas had to be catered for. To achieve this in a quick and easy manner, the project managers required a simple temporary barrier to create parking zones in an asphalted area.
A simple and lightweight barrier was required to separate the work area from the staff and visitor parking areas, and Jaybro’s A Frame barrier was an ideal solution.

We helped CPB Contractors by supplying over 300 of our A-Frame Barriers. Fast and easy to install, these simple modular steel barriers comprise a cross piece combined with two A frame ends, creating a 5.8 metre long pedestrian barrier.
A cost-effective solution for civil construction sites, the barriers are designed to the highest quality standards. In situations where soft pedestrian protection is not adequate (such as flagging and star posts), the A-frame barrier provides an obvious visual barrier on site.
The A-Frame Barrier is easy to assemble in place, and all components weigh under 20kg. This means they can be installed quickly on your site with reduced risk of injuries. The barriers are hard wearing and cost effective, meaning once purchased they will last multiple projects, saving you money.
Jaybro’s A-Frame Barrier is delivered in kit form saving space in transport, so we can ship large quantities efficiently. With a bright yellow powder coated finish, they offer a high visibility and an effective pedestrian delineation solution on site.
