Printed Traffic Cones for Perth Roadworks
Pinjar Road Upgrade, Perth
R J Vincent, September 2019
R J Vincent is one of WA’s leading civil engineering contractors. The team is currently working on upgrading a 2.5km stretch of Pinjar Road in Mariginiup. The road in Perth’s northern suburbs is being upgraded to a four-lane dual carriageway from Blackberry Drive to Joondalup Drive.
Covering five intersections, the works will improve the safety and capacity of Pinjar Road, provide local transport links to Banksia Grove as well as connections to the east and the north of the State via Neaves Road.
Jointly funded by the City of Wanneroo and the State Government, the $6.5 million project is expected to be completed by the end of 2019, enabling easier and faster commutes in the area.

Pinjar Road Upgrade
Mariginiup WA, Australia
As with any road upgrades, traffic management systems needed to be in place to control the movement of vehicles throughout the construction phase.
RJ Vincent approached Jaybro as a supplier of site essentials, including traffic cones. In order to present a professional image and deter theft, the project managers elected to brand their traffic cones with a printed logo.
Jaybro’s Perth team supplied 100 blaze orange traffic cones with a 250 mm wide Class 1 reflective collar. These were customised with R J Vincent’s logo in bold black print.
Branding traffic cones with custom text or logos is an ideal way to keep track of your own equipment especially when working alongside other contractors. Printed traffic cones can also help to discourage theft, as well as providing advertising and presenting a professional image.
At 700mm tall the printed traffic cones creates a highly visible traffic delineation. The retroreflective tape adds extra visibility in low light situations and a heavy rubber base prevents the cone from tipping over.
