Vinyl banners in Wollongong

The University of Wollongong is undergoing a series of development projects including the delivery of a new social sciences building. Our customer Richard Crookes Constructions has been charged with delivering this project, and the project managers selected hoarding banners from Jaybro to promote the exciting new multi-purpose space.

The Challenges

Richard Crookes Constructions required a highly professional quality printed banner to promote the new building and brand their site hoarding. Richard Crookes Constructions operates throughout NSW and the ACT and is a large family owned business that values quality and attention to detail.

Therefore, vinyl banners were chosen to market the site needed to have an excellent finish. Richard Crookes Constructions also required professional installation, and Jaybro was able to deliver.

Jaybro’s Solution

The team at Jaybro have extensive experience in designing, printing and installing banner mesh and vinyl on building sites. Our solution for Richard Crookes Constructions was a high fidelity vinyl banner print advertising the design of the finished project.

The high quality PVC vinyl sheeting is smooth and opaque, and therefore images are reproduced in brilliant full colour. For this project Jaybro installed the banners, which were edged with Kedar rope. This is a thick rope that easily slides into a slot in an aluminium sail track. This method of stretching vinyl banners creates a taught, flat surface.

Vinyl banners are a simple yet high impact advertising solution. Available in custom sizing, workers can easily fix them to any sized hoarding or temporary fence. They come hemmed and eyeletted complete with kedar edging, and are UV and water-resistant.

PVC Vinyl banners can be used to promote products & services, infrastructure projects, sporting events and more. Jaybro prints vinyl hoarding banners and temporary fence installations Australia wide.

The Project In Detail

The University of Wollongong has devised a masterplan to enable the institution to continue to provide excellent service to the community. It is estimated that by 2036, some 80,000m2 of space will be required on campus to meet core academic needs. Therefore, a 20 year master plan has been prepared which includes the current work to revitalise the arts building.

The University’s new Western Building will be a landmark development for the Wollongong campus. It has been designed to accommodate the diverse functions of the social sciences, law, humanities and arts faculties.

Richard Crookes Constructions will deliver a space that encourages collaborative and engaging learning. Specialist teaching spaces, academic workplaces and informal collaboration spaces make up the 10,000sqm floor area. The building consists of four levels plus an additional plant room area.
